What you will need

Step-by-step instructions

  1. Set Up the Art Station: Prepare a large piece of paper or canvas in a comfortable space where everyone can reach it.
  2. Gather Your Supplies: Collect washable markers, crayons, or paints and place them near the art station for easy access.
  3. Explain the Rules: Each family member will have 1 minute to add to the artwork before passing it to the next person, encouraging quick thinking and creativity.
  4. Start the Timer: Begin the relay by setting a timer for 1 minute and letting the first person start creating their part of the artwork.
  5. Pass the Art: When the timer goes off, pass the artwork to the next family member and reset the timer for the next round.
  6. Continue the Relay: Repeat the process until everyone has had a turn, or until you feel the artwork is complete and everyone agrees it looks great.
  7. Display Your Artwork: Once finished, find a special place in your home to proudly display your collaborative masterpiece for everyone to admire!
